ABOUT OUR SERVICE
One of the earliest services Kare-Environment provided was VOC control service, as unacceptably high VOC levels in refurbished and decorated homes were one of most common effects experienced by their owners. VOC is the product of powerful pesticides and adhesives, both could be commonly found in custom - made furniture and renovated areas, and could take years to be fully vaporised. We wish to provide a precise and straightforward solution to combat this problem.
What is VOC?
VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) is an umbrella term of chemicals that continuously evaporate in room temperature, many adhesives and paints require them to dry off once applied.

One of the most harmful VOC found in newly- renovated homes and areas is HCHO, a product of many solvents used in the renovation process. HCHO is invisible and slightly odorous. The symptoms it can cause ranges from itchy eyes and irritated skins, to allergic reactions and asthma attacks. The harmful effects of HCHO are the most obvious among children and infants, prolonged exposure to an environment with uncontrolled levels of HCHO may have long-term health consequences, even for adults.

Extent of Service
Air quality Sampling
Our staff will conduct air quality tests (number decided by staff) on several locations, before and after treatment. Results will be sent to client after service.
VOC Control
A specific photocatalyst material will be utilised to reduce VOC levels. An additional long-lasting photocatalyst layer will be applied to ensure long-term VOC elimination.
Air purifier rental service
We will provide clients with one air purifier unit for removing any remaining odour. A free-of-charge one week duration of use is part of the VOC control service.
